La Halle aux Grains

| At 2 minutes walk from the center of
Vernon, restaurant Halle aux Grains
is a fine place to enjoy French cuisine. The Belle Epoque decoration reminds
to the beginning of the 20th Century, when
Claude Monet and the American painters
of Giverny would lay down their
brushes to treat themselves.
For almost twenty years, the chef has been cooking here traditional tasty dishes, like the guinea-fowl with mushrooms or the waterlily shaped strawberry tarte. Products are fresh from the market, the Carte is renewed regularly to follow the season. Right
now (dec 2010) La Halle aux Grains offers its Bistrot formula
for 13.50 euros, the Relax formula for 26.50 euros and a
Gourmet formula for 32 euros. Those who would prefer a faster meal will find pizzas and large mixed salads. |

the parasols.
